I mainly work with materials and tools that represent the origins of the craft. In practice, it means that I use pigments and gum arabic - from acacia trees - dissolved in water.

 

The colour scheme follows the tradition from the period with the inlaid symbolism. For the initials it is lapis lazuli (ultramarine), vermillion, azurite, verdigris, and ochre.

 

I prefer to work on handmade linen paper.
